Township delivery, clearly answered
How our local driver network, community knowledge, parcel protection and partnerships work.
How does Order Kasi deliver safely in township areas?+
ODK works with drivers who live in or know the communities they serve. Their local knowledge makes mapping and recipient coordination easier and supports safer delivery operations. Drivers are vetted and their vehicles are checked against ODK standards before they deliver for us.
Are parcels insured?+
Yes. Parcels are insured for protection in a worst-case scenario, subject to the terms of the relevant delivery service or partnership agreement.
Which townships does ODK cover?+
ODK delivers across 47+ townships in South Africa. Confirmed examples include Khayelitsha, Langa and Gugulethu in the Western Cape, and Umlazi, KwaMashu and Isipingo in KwaZulu-Natal. Contact us to confirm a specific delivery area.
Who can partner with Order Kasi?+
ODK works with courier companies, e-commerce businesses and retailers that need last-mile delivery support into township communities.
How do drivers join ODK?+
Local drivers apply through ODK, complete a vetting process and have their vehicle assessed against our standards. Minivans are preferred because they can move more parcels on multi-stop routes.
Can ODK handle courier overflow?+
Yes. Courier partners can use ODK for township-bound routes and overflow volumes. Tell us the areas, parcel profile and expected volume so we can discuss the right arrangement.
Does ODK offer parcel tracking?+
ODK provides delivery updates and proof of delivery where applicable. Live self-service tracking is marked as coming soon on the website; current tracking enquiries are followed up by the team.
How do I request delivery coverage?+
Use the Partner with Us form and include the township or delivery area you need. ODK expands according to partner demand and will confirm whether the requested area can be served.
